Dear leaders and colleagues:
The 2026 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) National Science Fund for Young Scientists、 Excellent Young Scientists、 Distinguished Young Scholars and Creative Research Groups type B project application is now open. Please pay attention to the following matters if you are interested in making application.
1. National Science Fund for Young Scientists、 Excellent Young Scientists、 Distinguished Young Scholars and Creative Research Groups type B application will based on Macau University of Science and Technology.
2. The 2026 NSFC Application Guidelines for Young Scientists、 Excellent Young Scientists、 Distinguished Young Scholars and Creative Research Groups type B have been published, for details, please refer to the link:

4. The NSFC online application system is opened on January 15. It is anticipated that there will be many users online at the same time, please be reminded to save the application file periodically while you are filling out the form.
5. In order to ensure consistency and improve the quality of research proposals, RTAO will arrange a unified screening process. Please be sure to submit the application in NSFC system and submit a departmental recommendation via the memo system in WeMust by the internal deadline (on or before March 3, 2026).
