Introduction of RTAO Finance team

To streamline the management of university research finances and facilitate researchers in handling financial procedures such as expense claims and reimbursements, the Research and Technology Administration Office has established the “Research Finance Unit” in line with the university's educational philosophy and goals. The main responsibilities of the Research Finance Unit are as follows:

Processing daily expense claims and providing consultation on various financial matters.

1.      Handling salary disbursement for project personnel.

2.      Preparation of annual and final financial reports for research projects.

3.      Maintaining and updating the financial system for expense claims.

4.      Managing budget adjustments for research projects.

5.      Monitoring the utilization of project funds.

6.      Regularly convening meetings with the university's finance department and the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund to assist in formulating relevant policies.

7.      Organizing regular seminars on project funding (reimbursement).
