The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China (MOST) announces the application for the 2026 Key Special Program

The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China (MOST) issued a notice of application for the 2026 Key Special Program: "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Comprehensive Environmental Governance – First Batch of Open Competition for Leadership (Unveiling the List and Taking the Lead)","Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Comprehensive Environmental Governance – First Batch of Open Competition", "Innovative Drug Research and Development", "Prevention and Control of Emerging, Sudden and Major Infectious Diseases", "Research on the Prevention and Treatment of Cancer, Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases, Respiratory Diseases, and Metabolic Diseases" and "Next-Generation Artificial Intelligence – Competition as Evaluation". Except for the “Next-Generation Artificial Intelligence – Competition as Evaluation” project, for which application acceptance begins on August 10, 2026, the application acceptance for all other projects begins on August 7, 2026.

Please log in to https://service.most.gov.cn/index/ and complete the application form by August 21, 2026（Please complete the submission of the “Innovative Drug Research and Development” emergency project by August 11; please complete the submission of the “Next-Generation Artificial Intelligence – Competition as Evaluation” project by August 14.）.Fill out and submit the attachments provided in the email. The College Recommendation Form should be submitted to the RTAO for initial approval. 

After the approval of our university, it will be submitted to the FDCT. Only the projects recommended by FDCT are eligible for online application.
