Best Research Output Award

Macau University of Science and Technology (the University) sets up the Best Research Output Award to provide incentives for high-standard academic research. The University selects award winners annually from the following four disciplinary clusters, with one award in each cluster. The specified clusters consist of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Biological and Medical Sciences, Commerce/Hospitality, and Social Science (including Arts and Humanities).

The Best Research Output Award opens for application and selection annually, with a prize of MOP100,000 for each award. Winners of the award will receive a certificate alongside the prize award, to be given out at the annual award-presentation ceremony. The application period of the Best Research Output Award will be published in the form of public announcement by the University.

External awards include the National Science and Technology Award, Macau Science and Technology Award, Outstanding Achievement in Scientific Research in Higher Education Institutions Award, Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Award, Guangdong Precision Medicine Science and Technology Award, National Teaching Achievement Award, Translational Medicine Award, and the Zhong Nanshan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award, among various other awards.
