The Chinese Patent titled “Component Analysis Method and Application of Cordyceps sinensis” was developed by a research team led by Chair Prof. Zhihong Jiang, Vice President of M.U.S.T. and Director of the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, and Prof. Liping Bai Research Team. It has been licensed to Dongguan HEC Cordyceps Sinensis R&D Co., Ltd. for a period of three years, in exchange for a technology transfer fee of RMB 300,000. This patent enables the in-situ analysis of multiple compounds within the body of C. sinensis, including amino acids, monosaccharides, nucleosides, sterols, sphingolipids, phospholipids, glycerides, fatty acids, and organic acids. The patent has significant implications for the comprehensive quality control and determination of the optimal collection date for breeding products, as well as facilitating the development of related products by Dongguan HEC Cordyceps Sinensis R&D Co., Ltd.
